On Tuesday, the Senate cafeteria was shut down by anti-Israel demonstrators chanting “The Senate can’t eat until Gaza eats!” and more than 50 people were arrested.
U.S. Capitol Police confirmed to Fox News that those arrested inside the Dirksen Senate Building in Washington, D.C., have been charged with crowding, obstruction and failure to lodge.
“Demonstrations inside the Capitol are illegal,” the Capitol Police said in a statement.
Footage obtained by Fox News shows protesters walking through the building’s hallways with their hands raised and chanting, “Children are starving in Gaza” and “People are dying in Gaza.” It’s reflected.

President Biden is under pressure over the rising number of civilian deaths in the Israel-Hamas war, which began with a surprise attack on Israel by a Gaza-based terrorist group on October 7 last year.
Capitol Police arrest pro-Palestinian protester inside Cannon House Office Building
A source told Fox News that at one point, Capitol Police shouted, “Everyone leave or you’re under arrest,” to which protesters responded, “This is the people’s house!”

Some of the protesters appear to be the same people who disrupted Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s testimony at a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing this morning.
