Anti-Israel Protesters Target Teaneck Synagogue Event with Paramedics

A crowd of angry anti-Israel protesters stormed a synagogue in Teaneck, New Jersey, on Monday night, venting their anger at a group of Israeli emergency workers who had come to discuss their experiences after the Oct. 7 attack. I hit it.

On Monday night, when pro-Palestinian demonstrators gathered, an event run by ZAKA, the leading international organization for providing dignified burials to those who were massacred, was being held at the temple.

Monday was not the first time pro-Palestinian protesters showed up in Teaneck. In October, the town council passed a referendum condemning Hamas..

The group of emergency workers known as ZAKA began as a group of devout Jews who volunteered to collect the remains of terrorist victims. According to Jewish law, bodies must be buried as intact as possible. Later, the group also began providing emergency medical services, often riding their motorbikes through traffic jams to the scene of an accident or terrorist attack.
