“American Jews and their allies have shut down the 405 Freeway in West Los Angeles in protest of U.S. support for Israel’s attack on Gaza,” a statement from organizers said. “With one week until the Democratic National Convention, protesters are united in their three demands of all elected officials: call for a permanent ceasefire, reject the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, and enact an arms embargo.”
