Anton Lundell scores clutch goal in Panthers’ Game 5 win

Highlights and lowlights from the Rangers’ 3-2 loss to the Panthers in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday night:

1. Anton Rundell

After the Panthers mounted a furious charge in the third period, Lundell finally broke through at 10:22 to take the lead.

2. Gustav Forsling

The Panthers defenseman, who hadn’t gotten enough attention up until now, made a spectacular play midway through the second period, weaving his way through the Rangers defense and sending a backhand shot over Igor Shesterkin’s head.

3. Igor Shesterkin

The Rangers goalie gave it his all in this one, but again fell prey to Florida’s shooting range in the final period.
