Antonio Brown is bankrupt.
The controversial and mercurial former NFL receiver filed for federal bankruptcy in Florida on Monday, owing about $3 million to eight creditors. According to a report in the Times Union.

That includes $1.2 million that Anton Tumanov, the truck driver Brown allegedly assaulted, received for failing to appear in court in the case in 2022, according to court filings obtained by the Times Union.
The 35-year-old, who played for the Steelers, Raiders, Buccaneers and Patriots, is hundreds of thousands of dollars in credit card debt and owes $296 to a local plumber.
He claims on his tax return that his assets are less than $50,000.

He filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which allowed him to rebuild his finances while protecting him from creditors.
He hinted at bankruptcy on his X account on Tuesday, then on Monday wrote “I’m bankrupt” along with a “The Office” meme with a Cash App QR code and the caption “The biggest bankruptcy announcement in history.”
Brown’s other creditors include one seeking $28,589 after Avanti Solutions sued him for failing to pay him for work he did during a March 2023 appearance at the hip-hop concert Rolling Loud.
Brown’s apparent financial struggles are nothing new.
He was arrested in October for allegedly not paying child support.
