On Sunday in CNN's “Union Status” Trump's Border Border Area Tom Homan said that if the Department of Justice determines her webinar is a “disability” for law enforcement by avoiding deportation, Alexandria Ocasio – Cortez (D-NY) lawmakers said there was a possibility of charges being filed.
On Fox News, Homan said: “Is she crossing the line? I'm working with the Department of Justice to see where that line they cross? So AOC is probably in trouble right now.”
Host Dana Bash said, “Do you suggest that she should be charged?”
Homan said, “I suggested I asked the Department of Justice and said where is that line about that obstacle? It's a broad law. So I know, I know, I know, I know, I interfered and someone stopped in front of me and placed their hands on my chest and said, “You haven't come here to arrest that man,” it's obvious It's being blocked. But at what point? Where is the line of interference? Because you can call it “know your rights.” We all know what the bottom line is. The bottom line is how they avoid law enforcement. ”
Bash said, “She's just providing private education and you're vaguely familiar with US immigration laws,” but she reminds people of land laws. He said he was just doing what he needed to do. ”
“I'm vaguely familiar with US immigration laws. I've done this since 1984. I forgot more about immigration laws that the AOC knows. The truth is. I told her I was told that I was illegal. I explained that entering the country is actually a crime. So you know, I'm not going to play that game with her.”
