The Associated Press rebuked the White House after one outlet reporter said he was banned from covering an executive order signed Tuesday afternoon.

“As a global news organization, the Associated Press informs billions of people around the world every day of fact-based, nonpartisan journalism,” the Associated Press said. “We are wary of the Trump administration's punishment of the Associated Press with independent journalism.”
