People keep asking me why Arab Americans are voting for Trump. my answer? They are already Trump supporters and enthusiastic supporters. But they continue to say they are not registered to vote and don't know where or how to vote.
My husband and I started Conservative America Middle East PAC – or CAM PAC – October 2024, after a friend who supported Trump told us how much he was suffering financially but had not yet registered to vote. When we saw this gap in Republican efforts to register Middle Eastern Americans, we couldn't wait for someone else to fix the problem.
Since its launch in Michigan, we've seen people willing to line up just to register and vote for Trump.

One case in point is a Christian Iraqi-American man named Bashar who we set up outside a grocery store in Michigan last Wednesday, just as he was finishing up his day's work. He approached the registration table. Bashar said Democrats have approached him. 3 times I tried to register him to vote for Kamala Harris, but he refused to register until my group talked him into registering as a Republican. He will happily vote for Donald Trump from now on.
“This is the first time I've seen someone tell me how to vote Republican,” he said.
Before speaking with us, Bashar said he thought Trump would lose because there was no Republican effort, in contrast to all the Democrats who have repeatedly tried to secure Trump's votes. spoke. On Tuesday, an 85-year-old woman and her sister approached our table to register to vote after their children refused to help them vote for Trump. Both women are currently registered to vote for Trump in this election.
Another new voter who registered at one of our tables said he is a Muslim and is voting for Trump because he knows he will fix our country.
On Friday, we registered a 102-year-old woman whose legacy is for Trump to win the 2024 presidential election. She and her friends, who we also subscribed to, pray for Trump every day. One person said it was sad to see the assassination attempt that took President Trump's life in Butler, Pennsylvania.
A 24-year-old woman who had never voted before approached our table wanting to specifically register to vote for Trump.

Many more who visited our registration table had similar stories of not knowing where or how to vote. One after another, these new voters said they thought they could go to the polls on Election Day with their ID and vote. They didn't know they had to register first. CAM PAC had about 100 people sign up after just two days of campaigning in just two locations.
We are also expanding our enrollment efforts in Michigan beyond the Middle East community. We are registering many Albanian American voters, and knowing that these voters are hungry for information on where and how to vote before their state's registration deadline, Michigan's conservative We also reach out to the Macedonian American community.
Conservative grassroots activists like Tea Party Patriots founder Jenny Beth Martin and others have worked with us to ensure voters are registered and every vote counts. Turning Point's Charlie Kirk also warned on his show that Republicans shouldn't be on the ballot and urged everyone to register to vote before the deadline expires.
