Arch isn't the only Manning who currently attends the University of Texas.
Hyde, Cooper Manning's youngest child, is a Texas freshman, and he and Arch have experienced two different aspects of college life.
“I'm living a good life right now,” says Hyde Manning. Horns247 says.
As Arch prepares this spring and becomes the starting quarterback for the Longhorns next season, Heid will enter his first semester as an active fraternity member after surviving the pledge season in the fall.
Despite the complete lifestyle differences, Cooper thinks attending the same university is a good thing for them.
“So it's fun to be able to cross the two,” Cooper told Horns247. “The Arch and Hyde are very close and they love having each other at the same university.”
Hyde said it was sometimes funny to be the brother of the Longhorns QB who started.
“When I meet new people, they're all excited and ask me about him like he's a kind of superhero,” Hyde said. “But for me, he's the same guy who still doesn't know how to work in a microwave.”
The arch schedule may be packed with school and soccer, but the two still have time for each other and are connected through friends.
“The Arch is a great friend with my bunch [fraternity] All grades buddies, and I have become great friends with his teammates and I think it's important to have that crossover. [Arch]especially [to have an outlet from football]Hyde said. “We spend a lot of time together. We have a lot of lunch and dinner throughout the week.”
Arch is scheduled for the Texas QB spot as last season starter Quinn Ewers officially declared in January in the 2025 NFL Draft.
The 19-year-old saw limited time on the field in his first two seasons with the Longhorns, appearing in just two games in freshman years and 10 games during his sophomore season.
Arch recently signed a deal with Red Bull in January, raising the NIL rating to NCAA High $6.6 million.
