Arizona State Representative Stephanie Stahl Hamilton (D-Tucson) was caught on camera hiding a Bible from her colleagues in the Congressional Lounge at the Arizona State Capitol.
When Bible began disappearing from the lounge, security installed hidden cameras to identify the person behind the theft. Not long after, they discovered that Stahl Hamilton was the culprit. report By AZ Family.
AZFamily journalist David Cartaviano posted video footage that appears to show a state representative removing a Bible from the console table in the lounge and hiding it.

Several of the missing Bibles were reportedly found under lounge seat cushions, and one was found in a refrigerator.
Stahl Hamilton, who is also an ordained minister, later confronted Cartaviano in the Capitol, and Cartaviano asked her why she was hiding the Bible.
“I don’t want to talk to you,” she told journalists. Why are you hiding your bible? ”

An Arizona representative later admitted the theft to Cartaviano in an email, but claimed her actions were “a bit of a playful commentary on the separation of church and state.”
“I’m a Presbyterian minister, so obviously there’s nothing wrong with the Bible,” she added.
