Armed members of the Tren de Aragua gang threaten Colorado residents: video

Gang-Related Incident in Aurora Raises Concerns

A nine-member group linked to the Tren de Aragua gang caused a disturbance in a Colorado apartment, continuing a troubling trend. This comes just a year after the gang expanded its influence across the state, leading to increased violent crime.

CCTV footage captured a disturbing moment on June 9th, showing an armed thug repeatedly banging on the door of an apartment on Potomac Street in Aurora.

The group lingered at the complex for about a minute before leaving, highlighting their brazen behavior.

Police officials suspect gang involvement in the incident, with Chamberlain commenting that this situation isn’t isolated and echoes similar events in other apartment buildings.

He emphasized the need to address these individuals decisively, describing them as a “cancer” that must be removed to protect the community.

Two gang members, Larry Galbrace, 23, and Jordan Green, 22, have been arrested, while law enforcement continues to pursue others involved.

Authorities recovered a weapon that matched what was seen in the video, tied to Galbrace, who lived in the targeted building.

The police chief reassured the public, stating, “We are ahead of this.” He emphasized that the department is actively working on the situation and remains committed to maintaining safety.

Aurora, a typically quiet suburb of Denver with around 395,000 residents, has recently gained notoriety as a gang hub.

Chamberlain noted that the individual targeted in the recent attack had moved from Venezuela just days prior and expressed gratitude for not opening the door at that moment.

He reflected, “It’s alarming to think what could have happened,” and pointed out that the gang’s presence was hardly welcoming.

Since August 2024, police have responded to 44 incidents at the complex, including tenant threats and gun violence.

Authorities are collaborating with state and federal agencies, like the Department of Homeland Security and ICE, to apprehend the remaining suspects.

Community members are encouraged to provide any information they have regarding the gang’s activities.

Chamberlain stressed, “Aurora won’t be taken over by gang members.” The police are committed to ensuring the safety of all residents in apartment complexes to prevent further victimization.
