On Saturday, May 4, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., armed veterans thwart a suspected jewelry store robbery in Omaha, Nebraska.
Surveillance footage of the robbery was recently released.
KETV report Garrett Peddicord, owner of Sidronie Jewelers, said he was in the store late when he heard the front glass of the store break and saw someone jump from the broken window.

The would-be thief turned and exited the store through the same broken window he had entered through.

Peddicord said, “I usually carry a firearm on my hip no matter how many hours have passed. It’s my keys, my wallet, my firearm.”
