Tyrese Gibson Faces Arrest Warrant After Dog Incident

Tyrese Gibson has an arrest warrant issued after reports indicated his dog was involved in the death of another dog earlier this month in a Georgia neighborhood.

Gibson’s attorney, Gabe Banks, expressed deep regret regarding the event that occurred while the actor was away from home. In a statement, he mentioned that Gibson was saddened by the loss of the family pet.

Banks added that Gibson promptly decided to ensure the dog’s safety and is cooperating with authorities to resolve the situation responsibly.

When questioned about Gibson’s collaboration with law enforcement, Colonel Nicole Dwyer from Fulton County Police offered no clear confirmation.

The incident involved Gibson’s cane Corso reportedly attacking a 5-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel named Henry on September 18 in Atlanta. The neighbor who reported the incident, Harrison Parker, found Henry deceased in his driveway with critical injuries.

Parker noted he had only let Henry outside briefly before finding him in dire condition. He described Henry as a wonderful dog.

Later that evening, another neighbor called the police about the aggressive dog. Animal control was able to manage the situation temporarily.

Security footage apparently captured Gibson’s dog running through backyards before the attack happened. Parker also mentioned that Gibson’s friend struggled to control the dog, indicating that Gibson was not present initially.

Prior experiences of the dog being loose were reported as well, creating ongoing concerns in the neighborhood.

When police visited Gibson’s residence following the attack, he stated it would take time to manage the situation regarding the dog. Over the phone, he acknowledged the dog’s potential involvement in Henry’s death and expressed awareness of the problem escalating recently. However, when authorities returned with a search warrant, Gibson and his pets were not found at home.

According to reports, Gibson’s house manager informed the police that Gibson was abroad with his dog absent from the premises.

Recently, Gibson shared on social media about focusing on his mental health, implying he would be away until November for recovery.

Parker commented that Gibson should face consequences and not simply be able to leave the situation behind.

Amid the controversy, Gibson has shared a video showcasing him playing with another dog, assuring that he is engaged with the police while in Los Angeles. The video highlighted a playful interaction between his dog and a smaller animal.
