After Conti Cup success, back to domestic matters for Jonas Eidevall, and the chance to strengthen the hold on third place and return to the Champions League. And, should the leading pair slip up, be there to collect pick up the pieces. Their opponents, Bristol City are fighting relegation, so will not be taking this at all lightly.

important events
21 minutes: Why couldn’t Arsenal score? Russo fired low and Blackstenius narrowly missed a shot across goal.
20 min: “Stena Blackstenias, we want you to stay,” the Gunners faithful sing.
19 minutes: To be fair to City, they have defended well enough, but being pushed back has stifled their attacking instincts. Bentley made a fine save and after some heavy pressing from Ford, the ball was deflected by Black Stenius and the shot clattered.
18 minutes: I received a call from Anna. “Is it too early to talk about this season’s squad?” I think Uben Moy, Russo and McCabe are the only shoe-ins from Arsenal. Williamson, Little, and Meade haven’t played enough yet. Perova also came in screaming. ”
17 minutes: Ford and Catley on the left are doing all the damage to City.
16 minutes: Beth Meade gets a lap tackle from Napier. But it’s ok to play.
13 minutes: Jonas Idewall is now using airpods for his communication needs since he has completed his ban from the stands.
12 minutes: Arsenal close in and Little plays Catley twice on the overlap. A short shot from a corner kick, Perova gained time and space to fire a long-range shot that hit the post.
11 minutes: The voices of the fans will be heard in full voice. There will be time to refresh on Sunday night and those watching the men’s team will probably be looking for some solace.
10 minutes: When Little is sent off for a brilliant pass from Uben Moy, City keeper Bentley has to come out and win the ball. At the other end, the England players run the ball deftly. She’s one of the best players in the game right now.
8 minutes: It was the start Arsenal were looking for and exactly what City were looking to prevent. Of course, Arsenal set up after the goal.
goal! Arsenal 1-0 Bristol City (Mead, 7)
Ford went on the attack again and fired a right-footed shot that found Beth Meade to score.
6 minutes: Williamson is dictating play from deep as Arsenal wait patiently for their chance. Ford cleared the ball as he penetrated.
4 minutes: City will play attacking football. What do they have to lose at this point? Russo partners with Black Stenius and returns to tackle.
2 minutes: Won a short corner but it was just cleared by a City defender. Arsenal’s last line quickly gained possession of the ball and Catley fired in from the side. City are deep in their back five.
we head to boreham wood
1 minute: Both teams take a knee and we make our way through cold Meadow Park. The wind will be strong in Hertz. Arsenal immediately start attacking.
Now, let’s go to Meadow Park. North London Forever played similarly to today’s Emirates, but failed to inspire the men’s team.
Jonas Eideval is exiled to the Stands. After the Conti Cup turmoil, he is using technology to get his team to play the way he wants. He told Sky: “The communication is different because you have to stay connected to the bench all the time on radio and stuff, and someone else also has to communicate directly to the players. The decision-making should be the same, so it doesn’t have too much of an impact.
“When I was in Sweden in Priority, I played a lot of games in the stands to get a different perspective, so I know how good or bad it is and how it changes the decision. We are very confident that we can adapt.”
For Arsenal: Manuela Ginsberger, Katie McCabe and Chloe Lacasse were on the bench, while Frida Mahnum was absent after collapsing in the Conti final. Thankfully, there is good news regarding Mahnum, who will be back soon. Featuring Sabrina D’Angelo, Steph Cutley, Caitlin Ford, and Alessia Russo.
For cities: Abbi Harrison and Shania Hales are absent, and Syl Strzok is on the bench. Jamie-Lee Napier returns from suspension and Sarah Stratigakis makes her first start. Lisa Evans also appears.

Arsenal Women: D’Angelo, Fox, Wabben-Moy, Williamson, Catley, Little, Perova, Mead, Blackstenius, Ford, Russo. sub: Ginsberger, McCabe, LaCasse, Wienerroter, Goldie, Lear, Reed.

It was a great day for domestic women’s soccer.

preamble
After the success of the Conti Cup, Jonas Eidevall returned to domestic matters, with the chance to further consolidate their third place and return to the Champions League. And if the first pair fails, come pick up the pieces. Our opponents, Bristol City, are fighting for relegation, so I’m not going to take this lightly.
Let’s see how Gunners manager Aidewall reacts to Robert Frost’s poem, backed by poet Emma Hayes.
Kick-off is 6:45pm UK time.
