Aryna Sabalenka confirmed her new relationship with Oakberry acai brand CEO Georgios Franglis while in Italy for the Italian Open over the weekend.
Franglis and the 26-year-old Belarusian professional, who lost to Poland’s Iga Swiatek in the Rome final on Saturday, were seen holding hands at the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix in Imola the following day, according to her Instagram page. It was seen in the video posted.
The incident comes nearly two months after Sabalenka’s ex-boyfriend, former NHL player Konstantin Koltsov, died of an “apparent suicide,” according to Miami-Dade police.
His death was confirmed by Russian club Salavat Yulaev Ufa, where he had been an assistant coach for the past two seasons.
Sabalenka and Franglis posed for photos with the Haas F1 Team, which is sponsored by his company Oakberry.

Two-time Grand Slam champion Sabalenka blew a kiss to Frangoulis, thanking her for her support while speaking on court after her 6-2, 6-3 loss to Swiatek.

Sabalenka then made a heart gesture with her hands and blew a kiss to Franglis.
The entrepreneur, who was all smiles as he sat in the stands with his team, raised his hand and gave her a heart gesture in return.

According to People magazine, Koltsov and Sabalenka were first reported to be in a relationship in June 2021.
Koltsov was said to have been dating Sabalenka at the time of her death, but she explained in an Instagram note that the two had broken up.

“Konstantin’s death is an unimaginable tragedy. Even though we are no longer together, my heart is breaking,” Sabalenka wrote at the time. “Please respect my and his family’s privacy during this difficult time.”
Police said Koltsov appeared to have committed suicide and that investigators were dispatched to the St. Regis Bal Harbor Resort on March 18 after receiving a call “regarding a man jumping from a balcony.”
