“High School Musical” fans were shocked to discover that Ashley Tisdale is almost 40 years old.
Former Disney star, 39, posted a close-up video of her skin that is against her age on her Tiktok account Tuesday.
“I thought I was watching 40 vs. how I thought I was watching,” she wrote on the clip. She used a face filter to make it appear that there were wrinkles and bags under her eyes.
Tisdale then removed the filter to reveal her true complexion, which seemed smooth and wrinkle-free.
“I’m almost 40 years old and still feel 25 degrees,” she captioned the post. It was set for DJ Kool’s 1996 hit “Let Me Clear My Throat,” and earned over 8 million views.
Fans of the actress’s 2006 film flooded the comment section and expressed their shock to her age.
“Sharpay Evans never ages,” one commented on the post, referring to the characters in The Tisdale trilogy.
“40? A girl who was in a high school musical yesterday?” The second one rang.
“You’re only 25. If you’re 25, I’m only 15. I’m not in my 30s. I’m sorry,” the netizen joked.
“Our Queen never ages [sic] !!!!!” cried the fans.
“The 40s are the new 30s,” someone else pointed out, and in another gush, “You didn’t age the damn day.”
Tisdale celebrates her 40th birthday on July 2nd.
The “Sweet Life of the Cody” alumnus married Christopher French in Santa Barbara, California in September 2014, and has come a long way from her days as a child star.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Jupiter Iris, in March 2021.
Tisdale announced in March 2024 that the family was pregnant with No. 2, which made it clear that the family would expand.
Their second daughter, Emerson Clover, was born in September.
“Emerson Clover French, all three of us are crazy about you,” the proud mom shared on social media at the time.
