Ashton Kutcher Opens Up About Personal Hygiene

Ashton Kutcher has recently shared some personal insights. The actor, known for his role in “Beauty,” revealed that he has been married for four years and is attentive to hygiene. This comes after he faced criticism for previous remarks that suggested he doesn’t shower frequently.

“It was the craziest thing ever,” the 47-year-old actor explained during an interview. “At one point, we made a comment and everyone was like, ‘Does he stink? Does he stink?’”

Kutcher clarified during the discussion with co-stars Anthony Ramos and Jeremy Pope, saying, “I take a shower, go to the gym, take a shower.” Ramos humorously mentioned seeing his son showering, lightening the mood.

Back in July 2021, Kunis mentioned on the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard that she didn’t bathe her kids daily. “I’m not the kind of parent who gives a newborn a bath — never have I,” she said, while Kutcher added that if there’s no visible dirt, then bathing might not be necessary.

The couple then shared insights into their daily routines surrounding cleanliness. Kutcher disclosed, “I wash my armpits and groin every day, but nothing else. I got the Lever 2000 bar that works every time. Nothing else works.” He also mentioned he just splashes water on his face post-workout to wipe off the salt.

Kunis chimed in, stating she cleans her face “twice a day,” providing a bit more context to their routines.

A few weeks after their initial interview, the couple took to TikTok to humorously address the misconceptions that had grown around their bathing practices. In a playful skit, they stood in their bathroom with their children. “It’s water,” Kunis said to Kutcher, who was filming. Kutcher responded in a mock panic, asking, “Are you pouring water on the kids? Are you trying to melt the kids?”

“We’re giving our kids baths,” Kunis explained, while Kutcher quipped, “For the fourth time this week! It’s going to destroy their body oils! What are you trying to do?” to which Kunis jokingly agreed, saying, “That’s too much.”
