In an interview with FNC's “American Newsroom,” astronauts Barry “Butch” Willmore and Sunita “Sunita” Williams discussed the person who returned to Earth in SpaceX Dragon capsules off the coast of Florida last Tuesday, accusing them of shrinking them in space.
The two did not completely accuse former President Joe Biden of being stuck, but they said they had no reason to doubt President Donald Trump and SpaceX Head Elon Musk's allegations.
“What do you want to say to President Trump and Elon Musk?” asked host Bill Hemmer.
“I admire you,” replied Wilmore. “I trust you. You gave no reason not to trust you. Neither trusts you. What they say, I can't say what they say. I'm not living it. But I have no reason not to believe what they say, because they have won my trust. Just refreshed – it is strengthened for our country.
“I'm glad they're involved and they're aware,” Williams added. “And our situation, I think I mentioned before, maybe it wasn't the perfect situation, but we allowed a lot of people, including the President and Elon to see what's going on with the International Space Station and take it very seriously and realize that national involvement is really important around the world. It's important and I'm grateful that they and many people have noticed it.”
