The Houston Astros were eliminated from the postseason after losing 5-2 to the Detroit Tigers in the Wild Card Series on Wednesday afternoon.
This loss marks the first time since 2014 that the Astros have not played in the American League Division Series, and the first time since 2016 that they have not made it to the final four.

Bregman has participated in all seven trips to the Championship Series, the second longest streak in MLB history behind the Atlanta Braves in the '90s.

Bregman came off the bench on defense in the Astros' final home game of the regular season last week, but fans and manager Joe Espada clearly understood the situation and received a standing ovation.
