At least 12 people were shot, one fatally, between Friday and Saturday night across Mayor Brandon Johnson's (D) Chicago city limits.
ABC7 reported The victim, a 68-year-old man, was shot and killed in the 8400 block around 3:25 a.m., police said. Saturday on South May Street.
A witness who heard the gunshots went to investigate and found a wounded man lying on the ground. The 68-year-old man was shot multiple times but was unresponsive.
