At Least 13 Shot Friday into Saturday Night

In Chicago, led by Democrat Mayor Brandon Johnson, at least 13 people were shot between Friday and Saturday night, two of them fatally.

ABC7 No. 7 report The first fatal shooting of the weekend happened on Friday in a basement apartment in the 100 block of North Ramon Avenue. The incident happened just after 11:30 p.m. and left a 40-year-old man dead.

The second deadly shooting of the weekend happened “early Saturday morning.” according to of Chicago Sun-TimesTwo men, ages 39 and 53, were in the 4900 block of West Madison Street when someone got out of a Ford Explorer and began fighting with them.

During the struggle, a person exited the Explorer pulled a gun and fired a gun, fatally wounding a 53-year-old man.

Breitbart News reported that at least 100 people were shot during Chicago’s Fourth of July weekend earlier this month. Seventeen of the shooting victims died from their injuries.
