At least 15 people were shot, two of them fatally, over the weekend in Chicago, where Mayor Brandon Johnson is a Democrat.
ABC7/ Chicago Sun-Times report The first of the two fatal shootings occurred around 11:45 p.m. Friday, when a 37-year-old man was standing near his car in the 1300 block of West 13th Street when a group of assailants attacked him. A shot was fired at the man.
He was taken to a hospital, where he died.
The second shooting of the weekend occurred at 11 a.m. Saturday, when a 55-year-old man was in the 6700 block of South Ashland Avenue when someone in a passing vehicle opened fire, killing him. Died.

Breitbart News reported that at least 32 people were shot in Chicago over the Easter weekend, four of whom succumbed to their injuries.
