At least two teenagers were among the three people shot and killed in shootings inside two Big Apple businesses Sunday night, authorities said.
The two shootings occurred just hours apart on the Upper West Side and Brooklyn, and both suspects remain at large, police said.
Police said a 16-year-old boy was shot in the abdomen and another man, whose age was not immediately known, inside a deli at the corner of Amsterdam and 92nd Street in Upper Manhattan at about 7:45 p.m. was shot in the hip. Said.
Police said both victims were taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition.
According to the New York City Police Department, the suspect is a man wearing all black.
Less than two hours later, at around 9:30 p.m., a 16-year-old boy was shot in the left arm, right hand and groin in a targeted attack inside a deli on Sutter Avenue in East New York, police said.
He was admitted to Brookdale Hospital in stable condition.
The owner of Brooklyn deli 24/7 Eats Deli and Grill told the Post late Sunday. “Somebody came in here and shot somebody, that's all. It's not a big deal.”
According to the New York City Police Department, the gunman was a man wearing all gray clothing.
The attack comes less than a week after a gunman opened fire inside a Bronx deli, killing six people, in a series of shootings in the city's shopping districts.
The 40-year-old mother was shot in the stomach after being used as a human shield by one of the dastardly targets. Police said her 12-year-old daughter was also hit in the right thigh.
