At least 22 people were shot in Chicago, run by Democratic Mayor Brandon Johnson, over the weekend, three of them fatally.
Breitbart News reported that two people were shot and killed during a five-hour riot in Chicago on Sunday morning (a total of seven people were shot and killed over the course of five hours, two of whom died from their injuries).
By Sunday night, ABC 7 attention The total number of people killed in the weekend shootings has reached at least 22, with one more fatality.
The additional fatal shooting happened just before 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the 1600 block of East 87th Street. A woman was shot in the head while driving and was taken to a hospital where she later died. A 21-year-old man was also in the car and was shot in the head, but was still alive as of Sunday night.
