At least eight reported injured after plane crashes and flips on landing in Toronto | Toronto

A Delta plane carrying 80 people hit Toronto airport, airport officials said the plane was turned upside down and at least eight people were injured.

A video posted by News 3 shows a Delta plane getting mad at a snowy tarmac and walking away from it.

Public broadcaster CBC said up to eight people were injured, including three. He said one of these three was a child, adding that they were taken to hospital.

The airport said it was aware of the incident being handled by Delta Air Lines planes arriving from Minneapolis and the emergency team. All passengers and crew were explained, The airport said in X's statement.

Facebook user John Nelson, who said he was a passenger in flight, posted a video showing the crashed plane, writing: It's upside down. ”

He added: “Most people think it's okay. We're all off.”

Federal Aviation Authority said all 80 people on Delta flight 4819 have been evacuated. The Canada Road Safety Board will lead an investigation into the incident, the FAA said.

Ontario Prime Minister Doug Ford said “I was relieved that there were no casualties after the incident in Toronto Pearson,” adding that the airport and local government are offering help.
