Jason Aldean took to the stage to perform a new single at the Patriot Awards, while also announcing the release date for his upcoming album.

Kirk, a prominent conservative commentator, tragically lost his life earlier this year during a lecture at Utah Valley University. A young man at the event described him as “the very definition of a patriot.” Meanwhile, a woman expressed her disappointment over the divisiveness that followed his assassination. “I thought this country would be more united,” she lamented, adding that responses to the event seemed, in her view, unpatriotic.
