On April 30, President Donald Trump celebrated his first 100 days in office. His accomplishments during this time are quite impressive, and he seems to have made strides in fulfilling his promise to rebuild America into a successful and free nation.
A significant part of President Trump’s agenda for law and order is driven by Attorney General Pam Bondy, which many view as a defining achievement of his administration.
Today marks AG Bondy’s 100th day in office, and her efforts have arguably made America safer than any attorney general in recent history.
Let’s remember the challenges Bondy faced when she took charge of a struggling Department of Justice (DOJ):
The political prosecutions related to January 6th, the Russia investigation, the suppression of the Hunter Biden Laptop Story, accusations against parents at school board meetings, and the targeting of peaceful prayer groups by authorities. Meanwhile, the violent actions from protests in 2020 were largely dismissed. Immigration laws weren’t reinforced, allowing cartels to gain control over the border. This, in turn, has resulted in a surge of illegal immigration and escalated violent crime, along with numerous illegitimate lawsuits against President Trump.
In short, AG Bondi took on a monumental task. The left’s manipulation of the law needed to be addressed to reflect America’s legal values and standards.
On any objective measure, she has been especially effective, particularly in state versus federal litigation, combating deep state influences, securing borders, and focusing law enforcement on the priorities that American citizens care about.
Bondy has fiercely defended the Trump administration against biased judges, who undermined the executive’s authority by obstructing effective enforcement, eliminating birthright citizenship, saving taxpayer money, expediting the deportation of illegal immigrants, and resisting restructuring efforts within the executive branch.
Additionally, AG Bondy has confronted Democrat-controlled states and cities that defy the law. The DOJ has pursued legal action against several states for hampering the president’s energy initiatives and reinforcing illegal immigration through “sanctuary” laws.
Number 2 AG Bondy has initiated crucial reforms within the DOJ from day one. She ended remote working and emphasized that DOJ lawyers would support the agenda set by the elected President. She urged DOJ officials to be openly supportive of presidential policies, tackling legal hurdles head-on.
As a result, many bureaucrats in the department either resigned quietly or loudly protested, especially after receiving orders to dismiss politically motivated lawsuits. Some were dismissed, including over a dozen attorneys involved in politically-driven cases against President Trump.
Bondy’s efforts have further streamlined the DOJ. She offered numerous personnel off-ramps recently as a gentler way for employees to exit. Current DOJ lawyers are prohibited from engaging with the American Bar Association, which historically promoted leftist agendas and criticized the Trump administration. Frivolous regulations protecting deep state actors and media allies were revoked. Notably, Bondy has dismantled the DOJ’s controversial DEI initiative, directing prosecutors to pursue illegal DEI practices.
Third AG Bondy has been pivotal in border security, combating illegal immigration, thwarting cartels, and addressing drug-related crises. It all started with a memo that outlined a comprehensive approach to eliminate cartels and related organizations, prompting a significant shift in focus back to fighting crime, which almost feels revolutionary after years of neglect.
She redirected DOJ resources toward prosecuting cartel activities, securing funding to penalize sanctuary cities. Almost weekly, Bondy announces the arrest or indictment of gang leaders involved in multi-million dollar drug trafficking operations. She has even pursued legal action against two state judges for helping illegal migrants evade federal enforcement.
Finally Bondy has introduced 12 new task forces aimed at advancing President Trump’s policies. For example, a task force was formed to counter anti-Semitic sentiments, another to uphold religious freedoms, and a task force focused on Second Amendment rights to ensure Americans can lawfully bear arms. Additional measures include reforming issues related to children and reinstating the death penalty.
Through these measures, AG Bondy has effectively conveyed the president’s law and order objectives by directly engaging with the American public. Some critics claim she is overly present in the media, but that misses the larger picture. Under Joe Biden, trust in the justice system has waned significantly, and Bondy seems to be restoring some of that faith.
In his second inaugural speech, President Trump remarked, “The scales of justice will be rebalanced. The abusive weaponization of the Justice Department will cease.” In her first 100 days, AG Bondy has already taken substantial steps toward fulfilling that promise, and her work is just beginning.
