Aubrey Plaza's Instagram account is currently inactive following the death of her husband Jeff Baena.
The actress' profile was deactivated as of Sunday, displaying an error message that read, “Sorry, this page is unavailable.”
It's unclear exactly when the “Parks and Recreation” alum deleted his account, but the decision was made after the filmmaker's death by suicide.
Last Monday, Plaza joined Baena's family in a statement obtained by Page Six, calling his death an “unimaginable tragedy.”
“We deeply appreciate everyone who has offered their support. Please respect our privacy during this time,” they added.
Baena was found unresponsive in her Los Angeles home on January 3 by an assistant and was pronounced dead. He was 47 years old.
Plaza and Baena secretly married in 2020 after dating for 10 years.
The couple, who had no children, announced their marriage in May 2021.
During their relationship, the two worked on multiple projects together, including “Spin Me Round,” “Life After Beth,” and “The Little Hours.”
A few years before her death, Baena teamed up with Alison Brie to co-write Horse Girl, a film about her family's mental health struggles.
“Alison and I both have family members with mental illness, and that was a huge influence on how we approached this project,” he said on Reddit ahead of the film's 2020 release.
At the time, the director revealed that his first stepmother “suffered from manic depression and was in and out of a facility in Miami due to the Baker Act (California Section 5150).”
During the forum, one fan asked if the film was a “statement” about the current system in place to help people suffering from mental health issues.
“I don't think of 'Horse Girl' as an activist film, but the theme of how we treat people with mental illness as a society and as individuals was a big focus and driving force in making this film. ” answered Baena.
