Aubrey Plaza proudly displayed her baby bump at a screening for her new animated show “Kevin.”
The 41-year-old actress donned a charming white minidress with a blue floral design, complete with pockets, during the event in New York City on Thursday.
Looking joyful, Plaza accentuated her look with white high heels and was seen cradling her baby bump with a smile.
She also posed alongside Whoopi Goldberg and Quinta Brunson, leaning in close to Goldberg in a sweet moment.
The series “Kevin,” aimed at adults, focuses on a pet cat who makes the decision to abandon living with humans. Apart from Goldberg and Brunson, it features voices from Jason Schwartzman, Charles Melton, and Cary Elwes.
Plaza co-produced “Kevin” with her ex, Joe Wengert, and the show is set to debut on Prime Video on April 20.
In a recent episode of her podcast “Smartess,” Plaza revealed she is expecting her first child with her partner, Christopher Abbott. “Well, I have a baby inside of me,” she joked, clarifying her statement with a chuckle.
Plaza expressed her excitement about motherhood, stating, “I’ve always wanted to see what that is, you know?”
Despite her pregnancy, she remains energetic. Just this week, she was spotted taking the New York City subway, dressed in a casual outfit that included a tan jacket, white T-shirt, and black shorts, plus some stylish knee-high socks and New Balance sneakers.
A source revealed that Plaza’s pregnancy announcement was a “wonderful surprise” after what had been a tough year for her.
It’s worth noting, though, that Plaza faced a tragic loss when her husband Jeff Baena passed away in January 2025. His death was reported as a suicide, according to records from the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office. The couple had married in 2021 and separated just months before his untimely passing.
