The women’s legal team that filed a lawsuit against Shannon Sharpe of ESPN Sports’ man Shannon Sharpe of Rape has released an audio that Sharpe allegedly threatened to suffocate the woman.

Now her lawyer, Tony Buzby, has released an audio snippet that says shows Sharp’s abusive behavior.

The unidentified woman replies, “I don’t want to be. Please don’t manipulate me.”
The man replies, “Oh Lord, I have mercy. If you say the words again, I will suffocate the shit from you when I see you.”
After the pause, the woman adds, “No, I don’t want to suffocate.”
The man’s voice then responds, “Yes, I will. I don’t think there is a choice in the question.”
In a note to sports at the front office, lawyer Buzby said “the attached audio reveals the nature of Sharp’s relationship with Jane Daw just before the alleged attack.”
Sharpe’s lawyers deny all charges, saying the lawsuit is “filled with lies, distortions and misrepresentations and is not successful.”
Attorney Lanny J. Davis added that Sharpe “decisively denied all allegations of coercion or misconduct, particularly the serious lies of “rape”) and did not submit to what he sees as a terrible attempt at a horrifying mail.”
But Buzby argues that Sharp is abusive and in control and does not escape the treatment of women despite his power and wealth.
“Defendant Shannon Sharp is a man used to getting what he wants,” Buzby said. ‘no. ‘”
