Austin Metcalf’s alleged killer moved to ‘undisclosed location’ for his safety

According to a group representing his family, the 17-year-old, who was moved to a “non-public location” for his own safety, to the point that Texas Frisco-stabbing star Austin Metcalf died.

A statement from the Next Generation Action Network (NGAN) stated that Carmelo Anthony will “remove from a private location to ensure his immediate safety after “death threats, continuous harassment and physical threats targeting family homes.”

Anthony is said to have killed Metcalf in a seating dispute at a high school track competition held in Frisco on April 2nd. He was released from the Colin County Jail last Monday after being reduced from $1 million to $250,000. He is charged with first-degree murder.

According to the release, the threats include people who lots and take photos of the Anthony family’s current residence, deliveries of unnecessary food that Ngan said was “made to interfere with and harass the family,” and mailing Metcalf’s death, which was also said to be “intrusted.”

“We share images and documents of the threats our families faced over the past weekend to make the public aware of the dangerous atmosphere they created: an atmosphere supported by organized hatred, systematic racism and intentional misinformation,” the group said.

“In our society, the depth of hatred and prejudice is still alive and it’s heartbreaking and infuriating to see them live well,” President Dominic Alexander said. “We must not be siege just because our families demand constitutional rights. We are not silent and we will not retreat. We are committed to doing what is necessary to protect this family and ensure that justice is pursued without threats or fear.”

“There are no reported incidents in our department that the Anthony family is under threat,” the Frisco Police Department told Fox News Digital.

Last week, Alexander held a press conference, where Anthony’s mother, Kayla Hayes, spoke for the first time since her son’s arrest. Austin’s father, Jeff Metcalfe, tried to attend a meeting and was quickly taken from his property by Dallas police.

Alexander criticized Jeff Metcalf at the beginning of the meeting.

“What we saw at the beginning of this press conference that his father was taking part in this press conference is that these are my words – don’t quote anyone – to downplay the dignity of his son,” he said.

“The next generation of action networks have respected the loss of life from the start, regardless of what they say about it. We kept our opinions,” he said. “We are not attacking. We are not sharing any information shared with us about Austin Metcalf, as we respect the dignity of life and loss.”

Alexander later raised the issue of race.

“These racist paranoids try to prevent us from standing up for our babies, our boys, so he should be given the same rights that Kyle Rittenhouse had, Daniel Penny and whatever their defense is,” Alexander said.

“No one in public media has one video, but I got a video of Kyle Rittenhouse, where the AK-47 shot three people behind,” he said. “We got it and he publicly raised over $2 million, and no one said anything about it.”

That night, Jeff Metcalf’s house was slammed.

A “Protecting White Americans” rally was held in Frisco over the weekend. It was hosted by Jay Klang, best known for his incarceration, following the attack on the US Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Lang, a Florida native and currently running for the US Senate, reportedly was advised by Jeff Metcalf over the phone during the rally.

“You’re trying to create more racial division than fill the gap,” Metcalf told Lang. Dallas Morning News.

Fox News Digital reached out to Lang.

Metcalf has tried to tone down political rhetoric since the stab wound on April 2nd.

He said before Fox News, “I’ve already heard some rumors and gossip, so I want to make something clear right away. This wasn’t race, this is not political.

“Don’t politicize this. It’s… this isn’t about humans. This person made bad choices and had an impact on both my family and my family forever.”

Anthony reportedly confessed to stab Metcalf when he was arrested by the School Resource Officer at Kuikendall Stadium minutes after the attack.

When one officer told another officer there was a suspect who was stabbed in custody, Anthony clearly said, “I’m not suspicious. I did that.”

Anthony also asked the officers if Metcalf was “alright” and if what happened could be considered “self-defense.”
