An Australian police officer has been charged with murdering a TV personality’s ex-boyfriend and her ex-girlfriend’s current partner following the couple’s mysterious disappearance earlier this week.

Ms Baird, 26, a presenter and red carpet reporter for Australian media company Network 10, is believed to have been inside her Paddington home with Ms Davis, 29, at the time of her disappearance on Monday.
Police launched a search for the pair on Wednesday after workers discovered bloody items inside a bin in Sydney’s southern suburb of Cronulla, about 27 miles from their home.
Items seized included a bloody shirt, a phone and credit cards, the newspaper said.
Police also found “extensive blood stains” inside Baird’s home on Wednesday and began investigating it as a homicide, Superintendent Daniel Doherty said at a press conference Friday.

The vehicle was seized by police in Sydney on Friday and is being analyzed.

“Locating the body is very important, not only for the cause of death, but also for answers for the families, because they are still grieving and are starting to grieve now,” Doherty said. added.
“When we examined Paddington’s crime scene, we found a large amount of blood.”
Dougherty added that the gun was recovered from a safe at the police station.
Lamarr surrendered at Bondi Police Station on Friday morning and was transferred to Waverley Police Station where he was refused bail, a statement from NSW Police said.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Friday or Saturday.
The BBC said Mr Baird had worked for the BBC for more than seven years, including hosting talk show Studio 10 and children’s show Totally Wild, while Mr Davis was a full-time cabin crew member for Qantas.
On Sunday, Baird shared a photo of himself alongside Davies at Pink’s summer concert in Sydney.
Before joining the police force in 2019, LaMarr was a celebrity blogger who met many stars including Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus and Harry Styles.
