He created a point with a body serve and Shelton finished with two incredible inside-out forehands. He will face either Sinner or De Minaur in his first Grand Slam semi-final.

Shelton throws himself after the fall and manages to get under it and find the strength to pull it back up – Sonego makes quick work of cleaning up his hoard before making a mess in a crowd-pleasing way. He does push-ups to suppress his laughter, but Sonego misses the volley and it's 5-4 with two serves to go and four to go.
Sonego will never leave, and what's more, he's playing well. We went into the breakers 3-3.
