Authorities Swiftly Apprehend Suspects Following Projection Disrespecting Donald Trump at Windsor Castle

Arrests Made After Projection Stunt at Windsor Castle

Four individuals were taken into custody for projecting images of former President Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein on Windsor Castle just before the state visit to England.

This demonstration, organized by a group of activists led by donkeys on Wednesday, featured the castle’s walls adorned with images of Trump, Epstein, and an old photo of Epstein with Prince Andrew. The arrests occurred mere hours before King Charles and Queen Camilla were poised to welcome the President and First Lady.

A van parked nearby displayed the message, “Welcome to the UK, Welcome to Donald.” The police apprehended a 60-year-old man and a 36-year-old from East Sussex, a 50-year-old from London, and a 37-year-old from Kent, citing “malicious communication” as the reason for their detention.

Thames Valley police reported that their officers acted promptly to halt the projection and confirmed that an investigation is underway, with the suspects currently in custody.

Chief Felicity Parker emphasized the seriousness of illicit activities around Windsor Castle, stating that police are working “in full collaboration” and will release further details as they become available.

In addition to the projections, protesters gathered in Windsor, prompting a significant police presence during Trump’s visit. The Metropolitan Police indicated that over 1,600 officers were stationed in central London in anticipation of potential demonstrations during the President’s stay.

During the trip, the President and First Lady Melania Trump are scheduled to have lunch with members of the royal family and visit Queen Elizabeth II’s final resting place. The names of the arrested individuals have not been disclosed.
