Nancy Pelosi can always be counted on to disparage half of her fellow Americans. Well, I guess in this case, only 30%.
“There are people who will never be, shall we say, inclined to support Democrats because of – they just have a different orientation toward women, people of color, LGBTQ, you know, they just are not ever going to be there,” Pelosi said in an interview with regime journalist Kara Swisher.
“So, say that’s about like 30% or something like that… of the Republicans.”

It’s just the latest in a long line of comments about “bitter clingers” and “deplorables.” Democrats can’t resist saying the quiet part out loud.
Pelosi thinks 30% of Americans won’t vote for her because they’re shot through with racism, sexism, homophobia and bigotry of all stripes. If you can’t see how objectively good her policies and values are, then you’re a terrible person.
It’s actually quite amazing to see that Democrats still haven’t learned to keep their mouths shut when it comes to comments like these. No one likes it; the well meaning center-left liberal might side with Democrats on economics or healthcare, but that doesn’t mean they think people who disagree do so because they’re evil people. Most can agree that these sorts of comments only serve to make Democrats look like elitist assholes.
Yet elite Democrats are consumed with so much hatred for their fellow citizens that put two on a stage together, and they just can’t control themselves.
