Nicole Kidman is conscious of death.
The Oscar winner recently mourned the death of her mother, Janelle, who passed away in September at the age of 84. The 57-year-old lost her father Anthony in 2014.
In a published interview In GQ On Monday, the actress admitted her feelings were “more” coming to the surface as she reflected on her future.

“Morality. Connection. Life comes and hits you,” Star said of what she feels more deeply than ever.

When Kidman's mother died, the “Baby Girl” actress quickly left the Venice Film Festival and returned to Australia.
Director Halina Lane read a statement on Kidman's behalf at the film festival, which was originally supposed to be her acceptance speech for Best Actress. Ms Lane, 48, said that after Ms Kidman flew to Venice, she learned “shortly thereafter that my beautiful and brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, had just passed away”.
“I'm in shock and have to go to my family, but this award is for her,” Lane said. “She shaped me, guided me, and made me who I am. I am so grateful to be able to say her name to you through Halina. The collision of life and art is heartbreaking. My heart is breaking.”
“…How does this happen when you get older… It’s like waking up at 3 a.m. crying and gasping for air. If you’re not in it and numb to it. And I I’m totally in it.”

Kidman also told GQ how her daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, who were 4 and 6 years old at the time of their father's death, were doing well. The paper described Kidman as “broken and crying” at the time.
“He was so young that he didn't even know if I was acting,” Kidman said of one of her children. She said, “Is mom acting now?” Then the older child said, “No, Mommy isn't acting right now.” But my older child said, “Aren't you sad in the morning?'' Because they don't want a house full of sadness. Who will do it? ”
Kidman said she needed to push through the pain to be there for her family.

“…before you know it, you're pushing forward,” Kidman said. “And by pushing through for them, you get better because it lasts. That's the natural progression of how it should go. Parents, then you, then the kids. That That's the natural progression. So if that happens, it's a blessing.”
The Big Little Lies star previously revealed that it was her mother who encouraged her to pursue her dreams as an actress.
“She gave me the fire to pursue my career because I always wanted to please her,” Kidman told The Sydney Morning Herald in 2020. hollywood reporter.
