Ali Fedotovsky Manno's husband, Kevin Manno, has been diagnosed with a type of thyroid cancer.

The “Bachelorette” star appeared with her husband in a video shared on Instagram, where she not only discussed her husband's diagnosis, but also encouraged fans to share their own experiences surviving thyroid cancer.

Manno, a radio and television presenter, revealed that he was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer after doctors found “two malignant spots on the right side” in addition to possible cancer in his lymph nodes.

“We recently found out @kevinmanno has papillary thyroid cancer. Thankfully, it's a very treatable cancer,” she captioned the video. “He has two malignant spots on his right side, and it appears to be in one of his lymph nodes as well, but we won't know for sure until surgery.”

She added: “Please let us know if you have any experience with thyroid cancer. We specifically ask whether you or someone you know had their thyroid removed completely, or if they had cancer on only one side and had half of their thyroid removed.'' If the surgeon goes in there and decides he needs to remove the whole thing anyway, of course we'll go ahead with it, but when he goes into surgery, he Choose to be proactive or leave half if you can.”
