This man is the king!
William Hendon, the Cincinnati Reds fan who was shot with a Taser while doing a backflip, became an overnight baseball legend.
For those of you who don’t know what I’m talking about, or need a refresher, Hendon started to become famous when he jumped onto the field at Great American Ball Park during a Tuesday night game between the Reds and the Cleveland Guardians, but that didn’t specifically make him a star. Anyone can do that, and we see it all the time.
What really sets Hendon apart is the fact that he performed a perfect backflip, even blowing the hat off of the police officer who was chasing him – it was amazing!
But it all came to a screeching halt when Hendon was hit with an officer’s Taser.

But Hendon’s 15 minutes of fame isn’t over yet.
At the arraignment Wednesday morning, District Judge William Mallory I told him Many thought he landed a backflip, so the judges immediately deserved to give him a standing ovation (pun intended) — awesome guy!
How will Hendon react? (Related article: Nationals’ Lane Thomas ejected for looking at umpire?)
By becoming a legend!
“I certainly did.”
The legend of Hendon (the GABP back flipper) continues to grow.

Yes, I get it, he is technically a felon charged with trespass (a felony) and obstruction of justice (a misdemeanor), but frankly, that’s none of my business.
What an icon!
