Bad Bunny's Super Bowl halftime performance: Former NFL player and Logan Paul share their thoughts

Bad Bunny to Perform at Super Bowl LX

Bad Bunny’s upcoming halftime show at Super Bowl LX is generating considerable buzz ahead of the game between the Seattle Seahawks and the New England Patriots.

The Grammy award-winning artist from Puerto Rico is known for his vocal opposition to certain policies of the Trump administration, especially the actions of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) against undocumented immigrants.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently expressed his confidence that Bad Bunny recognizes the influential nature of a halftime performance. He hopes that the artist will bring fans together instead of driving them apart. This sentiment was echoed by former NFL star Robert Griffin III.

“I believe Bad Bunny has the ability to inspire us to dance and connect. I want him to create unity through his music,” Griffin shared with Fox News Digital at the Super Bowl party hosted by Sports Illustrated. “Music transcends politics; it’s about having a good time and coming together. That’s what I’m excited for.”

On a different note, Logan Paul had a more straightforward reaction, stating he was not looking forward to the halftime show at all.

Other former NFL players, like Todd Gurley and Danny Amendola, expressed their enthusiasm over the musical aspect of the event.

Bad Bunny’s critical remarks regarding ICE have stirred conversations leading up to his performance, especially since he reinforced his position during the Grammy Awards.

“ICE is out,” he remarked in a past interview. “We are not savages, we are not animals, we are not aliens. We are humans and we are Americans.”
