Lara Trump is making a double effort to solidify her front-runner status to become the next co-chair of the Republican National Committee (RNC), including a huge fundraising haul for the Democratic Party. This includes identifying priorities for accelerating organizations that are struggling to keep up.

President Trump outlined these priorities Wednesday during a campaign stop in North Charleston, South Carolina, to encourage voters to support his father-in-law, former President Donald Trump, ahead of Saturday’s Republican primary.

“We must vote our harvest as legally as possible,” he told an angry crowd of about 150 supporters gathered at Trump campaign headquarters, accusing them of trying to steal the election. Unlike the Democratic Party, he emphasized the need to obey the law. various means.

In addition to collecting ballots, President Trump, as RNC co-chair, will launch efforts to register more Republican voters “from day one” and hire and train poll watchers to help crack down on potential illegal activity. He added that he would do so.

“I’m here to do everything I can to get this country back on track,” she said.

In an interview with Fox News Digital ahead of his speech, President Trump said that the RNC faces challenges now that the election year has begun, being dwarfed by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) along with President Biden’s other community chest groups. He also mentioned the challenges of raising funds. of cash on hand.

“That’s exactly why we have no time to waste. I was honored to have my father-in-law’s support to co-chair the RNC. Ultimately, we still have to vote. We’ll see how it goes.” Let’s do this.’ But I think the No. 1 goal on day one is that we need to start fundraising on the Republican side of the aisle because Democrats have the war chest,” she said.

“We all know that even though Joe Biden is a terrible candidate and has really terrible support across the board right now, he has a lot of support,” she added. “He has a lot of money behind him. He has the mainstream media behind him. He has the Democratic political machine behind him. So between now and November 5th, we will cover… There’s a lot to do.”

President Trump claimed last week that “every penny” the RNC received should be used to secure former President Trump’s election in November, expand the Republican majority in the House of Representatives, and reverse Democratic control of the Senate. repeated.

She also addressed the controversy surrounding conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who founded Turning Point USA, a nonprofit that advocates for conservative policies on college campuses, and current RNC chair Ronna McDaniel. reported that he was involved in a plan to resign from his position. It was held for over 7 years.

An NBC report released last weekend alleges Kirk’s role in McDaniel’s pending firing and how he has since been criticized by Republicans for past controversial comments on his podcast and for steering money away from the RNC. He detailed the criticism he received.

But that hasn’t deterred Trump from praising Kirk, who he hopes will play a bigger role in Republican politics in the future.

“I think he’s actually been great in terms of attracting young voters. We need to do that as a party,” she said. “The reality is that the Democrats have a huge advantage over us. They have Hollywood, they have the music industry, they have as much social media as possible in their fields and corners. And , it’s difficult for us to engage with a younger audience. ”

“I think what Charlie Kirk has done so well is really reach out to the youth of this country, reach out to the kids on college campuses. He’s already playing a huge role in the future of this party. “I think he has played a role and I hope he continues to play a role as we get back to the top and win the White House and beyond,” she added.

There is no set date for when McDaniel will step down as chairman, but RNC committee members reportedly plan to select her replacement early next month.
