Less than a week after an assassin attempted to kill former President Donald Trump, Hollywood star Barbra Streisand has made the bizarre claim that Trump brought it on himself by being a “bully”.
In a post on X this week, Barbra Streisand offered a twisted karma theory, claiming that attempted assassin Thomas Matthew Crooks was regularly bullied at school and was therefore motivated to kill the “bully” Trump.
“Thomas Matthew Crooks was a registered Republican, but as has been reported, he was severely bullied in school. Mr. Trump has always been labeled a bully, so maybe that was his motivation,” Streisand said.

Former President Donald Trump narrowly escaped death on Saturday at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when he turned his head at the last moment and was shot in the right ear.
President Trump spoke at length about his experience facing death during his speech at the Republican National Convention on Thursday.
“I wasn’t supposed to be here tonight,” he said, before adding, “It is only by the grace of Almighty God that I am standing before you in this arena.”
Unlike many other Hollywood Democratic donors, Barbra Streisand has not called on Joe Biden to abandon his reelection campaign, but she has been conspicuously silent on the topic of the president since her infamous performance at last month’s presidential debate, in which she humiliated herself in front of tens of millions of U.S. viewers.
