Not great news for Cubs supporters.
Pope Leo XIV has declared his allegiance to the White Sox.
In a quick response, the Vatican issued a statement.
“It’s wonderful to have White Sox fans visiting us here,” it read.
The jersey and cap are already on their way to Rome,” they added.
Details about the upcoming days for Pope Leobob Bullhead have surfaced.
I mean, really, God’s involvement isn’t a bad thing, right? So, it looks like we’ll be cheering for the Sox.
Meanwhile, over in Chicago, Miami’s Edward Cabrera is still searching for his first win this season after five starts. He’s given up 17 runs and 29 hits over 24 and a third innings.
On the other side, White Sox’s Shane Smith has allowed only three runs in his last 15 innings, with just one home run hit off him in 37 innings.
The Tigers wrapped up a road trip, scoring 79 runs in ten games.
We were counting on Patrick Corbin of the Rangers to keep the Tigers at bay, and he somewhat delivered.
Corbin gave up two runs and three hits in seven innings, but Tarik Skubal was even better, allowing just one run and striking out 12 in his seven innings. The Tigers edged out the Rangers, 2-1.
It’s shaping up to be an intriguing season for sure.
