After a solid nine runs on Saturday, the Yankees are primed to keep their offensive momentum going in the final game against the Orioles today.

The Orioles are sending struggling pitcher Dean Kremer to the mound, hoping to clinch the series.

With an ERA over 15 in 14 starts this season, it seems batters haven’t had much trouble with him at all.

Kremer has only recorded 65 strikeouts in 84 innings, allowing 92 hits and letting opponents achieve a .275 batting average against him.

Keeping the ball in the park has been a challenge for him, a trend seen throughout his career in the league.

This is now his third straight season of allowing more than 1.25 homers per nine innings, which, well, it’s the highest in the league during that span.

As for me, I’m actually considering players other than Yankees star Aaron Judge, since Kremer has a tendency to give up homers.

Interestingly, Judge has had Kremer’s number in the past, hitting four home runs in just 18 plate appearances, including a notable 110 mph shot last September.

Admittedly, Judge has had some ups and downs lately, but he’s showing signs of life, hitting well recently with a single just last Friday night.

It seems Judge’s odds for hitting a home run might just be among the lowest in the league today, but this match-up could give him a great opportunity.

I’d say it’s worth a shot: Play for Judge to hit a home run.
