Bat Bites ‘Gossip Girl’ Star Taylor Momsen During Concert Forcing Rabies Shots

gossip girl Star Taylor Momsen had an unfortunate collision with a bat while performing with band The Pretty Reckless in Seville, Spain, and the onstage incident has forced her to undergo rabies vaccinations for two weeks.

Momsen, 30, took to social media on Friday to post a video explaining what happened when she met her girlfriend from hell.

“You’re all pointing at things, but I don’t know what you’re talking about,” Momsen said to the astonished crowd as they watched the invasive flying mammal pounce on the musician-turned-actress.

Momsen became frightened when he realized the bat was fastened tightly to his leg and began calling for help.

“I’ve got a bat flying at my leg right now,” she said. “Can someone help me?”

As Momsen tried to defend herself from the smaller attacker, several men ran onto the stage to help her.

“I must really be a witch,” Momsen jokingly told the audience, “and it’s okay, the bat is fine too. He’s going to be my new friend.”

Momsen’s unfazed demeanor clearly impressed the audience, with fans exclaiming, “So professional!”

“Thank you!” Momsen told her fans, as the audience applauded and cheered.

“I’m OK,” she said after crew members removed the bat.

“And Bat is fine,” she added. “He’s going to be my new friend.”

Momsen also posted footage of herself being treated at the hospital for the bite, where she can be seen wearing a black face mask and giving a thumbs up, before later lying in a hospital bed.

Fox News Note According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, rabies is a serious disease that is almost certain to be fatal if not treated immediately.

According to the CDC, treatment “includes human rabies immune globulin (HRIG) and four to five doses of the rabies vaccination, which should be administered as soon as possible after infection.”
