'Baywatch' actresses Nicole Eggert and Erika Eleniak come together years after their popular '90s show

From Beaches to Benefits

Nicole Eggert and Erika Eleniak, both stars from “Baywatch,” got together on Sunday at a benefit event for Los Angeles first responders, held at the Los Angeles Fire Museum.

Eggert, 54, took to Instagram to share some photos of their reunion, showcasing both of them grinning for the camera. She sported a white button-down shirt, a green jacket, black shorts, and matching boots.

Eleniak, 56, chose a more casual look with jeans and a short-sleeved black top.

“There’s nothing like spending time with amazing women for a good cause,” Eggert wrote in her post.

Eleniak echoed those feelings, commenting, “I’m so happy we got to spend time together! ❤️❤️.”

She also shared a picture on her Instagram, mentioning, “A very nice time spent with Nicole Eggert and Samantha for a great cause. Evening at the Los Angeles Fire Museum. On the anniversary of the Los Angeles fires, we honor the brave first responders. Presented by Scarlett’s Hope.”

Though they starred on “Baywatch” for 11 seasons, their storylines never intertwined on the show.

Eleniak portrayed Shawni McClain from 1989 to 1992, leaving the series in the same episode where Eggert debuted as Summer Quinn. Eggert was part of the show from 1992 until it ended in 2001.

The beloved show also included actors like David Hasselhoff, Carmen Electra, Pamela Anderson, Donna D’Errico, Parker Stevenson, and Sean Weatherly.

In 2019, Eleniak shared that she was stepping back to focus on her film career, looking back fondly on her time with the show.

She remarked, “My swan song was the introduction of Pamela Anderson’s character, CJ Parker, so it was kind of a great time to go. So they hit the lottery.”

Meanwhile, Eggert expressed her need to take a step back from acting for personal growth, reflecting, “If I could talk to young Nicole right now, I would tell her to just keep going and rest when she dies.”

In contrast, Eleniak has largely distanced herself from acting. She currently resides in Canada with her husband and their 20-year-old daughter.

Eggert, now a mother of two daughters aged 27 and 14, has been open about her struggles with breast cancer over the past three years.

She mentioned feeling “really good” after undergoing her second surgery since being diagnosed with stage 2 cribriform cancer in December 2023.

Eggert shared that post-surgery, she is happy with how things turned out, saying, “I’ve started wearing really small bras and I’m really happy with my breasts.”

She noted, “It’s funny, it’s just like that, because you’re dealing with boobs all day, every day, and I don’t really care, I just want them to be healthy.”

Eggert made her cancer battle public to help others navigate similar challenges. “If I felt so scared and alone, obviously others felt the same way,” she explained, wanting to create a supportive community where people can share their experiences without fear.

“Let’s make this a happy place,” she concluded, emphasizing empowerment and open communication.
