A Tennessee black bear was euthanized after a video went viral last week of the wild animal eating gumbo at a theme park concession stand and injuring an employee, wildlife officials said.
WVLT-TV reported that the bear attacked a concession stand called “Bear Can” at Anakeesta Mountaintop Adventure Park in Gatlinburg.

“He’s into gumbo,” one bystander can be heard saying in the video filmed by Zachary Recchia.
The video shows the bear standing on its hind legs and munching on food, staring at confused customers before turning to leave when an unsuspecting store employee walks in through the front door. The bear then lunges at the female employee, slamming her body, but she steps back, dropping a large pot, then runs back into the store, slamming the door.

Wildlife officials said the employee suffered minor injuries to his arm and back in the incident.
Following the incident, the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) conducted a search for the black bear along the border. According to WVLT-TV, the TWRA released a statement on Monday saying they found a bear matching the description in the video and euthanized it.

Anakeesta Park and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
