Beloved Beauty Influencer Liz Lyn Louie Passes Away at 36

Liz Lyn Louie, a popular beauty influencer known for her significant online presence, has tragically passed away at the age of 36. She had amassed over 144,000 followers on Instagram.

Her husband shared the news of her passing on Sunday, posting a heartfelt tribute on her social media account.

“Liz was always a girl with a smile, a sunshine and a love,” he wrote. “Liz quietly left, but the beauty and love she left behind will always be with us.”

The cause of her death has not been disclosed as of now.

Despite having shared content on social platforms since 2012, her husband noted that Ruoyu never regarded herself as an “influencer.” Instead, she viewed her followers more as friends. “She always tried her best to respond to every message because she genuinely cared and appreciated everyone supporting her,” he said.

Ruoyu had a deep interest in new experiences, particularly small animals, and embodied kindness. Her husband emphasized, “She always had a unique and charming taste, using her creativity to bring beauty and inspiration to the world.”

Friends and fans have taken to social media to pay their respects. Beauty creator Nancy Tsai shared a collection of photos that documented their 15-year friendship.

“We have so many memories that deserve a smile together,” Tsai wrote, recalling trips they took to places like Singapore, Los Angeles, and Tokyo. “The next part of your journey will allow you to continue to smile with a heartfelt smile. Always love you.”
