Beauty Influencer Found Dead in Slovenia

Stephanie Pieper, a 31-year-old beauty influencer from Austria, was discovered deceased inside a suitcase in a Slovenian forest. This tragic occurrence reportedly follows a confession from her ex-boyfriend regarding her death.

Pieper, well-known for her content focused on makeup, fashion, and singing, had been missing since Sunday, November 23, after returning from a Christmas party, as per Styrian police reports. They noted she had sent a message to a friend saying she arrived home safely, but soon afterward, she expressed concerns in a text, mentioning a fear that someone was in her stairwell. Neighbors claimed they heard a disturbance and spotted her ex-boyfriend inside the building.

According to information from local media, including reports from Kronen Zeitung, Pieper’s ex-boyfriend allegedly confessed to strangling her, placing her body in a suitcase, and then burying it in the woods. After the confession, he guided the authorities to where her body was located.

Concerns grew when Pieper’s family and acquaintances couldn’t reach her, prompting them to file a missing person’s report after she failed to arrive for work. Authorities later apprehended her ex-boyfriend in Slovenia, notably near a burning car, although attempts to contact him proved unsuccessful.

Pieper’s ex-boyfriend, declared a suspect, was extradited to Austria and is reportedly cooperating with investigators during questioning. In a statement, Styrian police mentioned the man had driven to Slovenia multiple times, and they noted a car fire on the evening of November 24, with the vehicle belonging to the suspect.

Additionally, two male relatives of the suspect were arrested as part of the ongoing investigation. So far, Styrian police have not commented on further questions from various media outlets.
