Ben Affleck’s New Dunkin’ Super Bowl Ad is Star-Studded

Ben Affleck is gearing up for another Super Bowl advertisement for Dunkin’, and it sounds like it’s going to be packed with familiar faces. Sources reveal that Jennifer Aniston, Matt LeBlanc, Jason Alexander, Tom Brady, Alfonso Ribeiro, and Ted Danson are all set to appear in this new project.

Interestingly, Danson will reprise his role as Sam Malone from “Cheers.” That could bring some nostalgic vibes, for sure.

The ad, titled “Good Will Dunkin’,” is a playful nod to Affleck’s 1997 film “Good Will Hunting,” which he co-starred in with Matt Damon. Filming took place in Los Angeles, and it was so discreet that crew members had to cover cell phone cameras with tape for extra security.

This project is yet another mini-epic from Affleck, who not only stars in it but also produced and directed it. And, it seems there’s a special nod to his Boston roots, considering that Brady, the legendary New England Patriots quarterback, is returning after his appearance in last year’s “Dunkings” show. Plus, Danson’s character was a former Red Sox pitcher turned bartender, connecting the dots back to Boston.

But that’s not all. The ad will reportedly include a reunion between Aniston and LeBlanc, along with stars from beloved sitcoms like “Seinfeld” (Alexander) and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” (Ribeiro). There’s even hope that Ribeiro will bust out the iconic “Carlton Dance”! Wouldn’t that be a fun moment?

Affleck’s previous Dunkin’ ad from last year featured not just his co-star Damon but also his then-wife Jennifer Lopez. It’s interesting to reflect on how much has changed since then. Last year, Affleck’s spot also showcased Brady and Damon’s cameo as part of a fictional boy band.

Affleck’s love for Dunkin’ is well-known. He mentioned in a past interview that he eats there daily, which kind of makes you wonder if the brand should start capitalizing on that enthusiasm in their marketing.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed that this new project is as fun and engaging as it sounds, although one can’t help but hope it avoids any plot holes.

A representative did not provide any comments on the upcoming ad.
