Show must go on!

Pop rocker Benson Boone trolled the Coachella crowd when he brought in surprise guests after the crowd last week had an overwhelming response to iconic queen guitarist Brian May.

The “Beautiful Things” hitmaker performed cardboard cutouts of the legendary locker to appear on stage instead of the actual May for a flashy cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” over the second weekend of the festival.

Dressed in a fur cape to honor queen singer Freddie Mercury, Boone began singing on a turquoise piano, performing his signature flip from Yamaha instruments, turning center stage and watching May’s cutout rise after the second verse.

When Boone sang, “I sometimes hope that I’ve never been born,” a cardboard cutout was introduced while real guitarist Susu Vazquez played his first guitar solo.

“Brian May!” cried Boone in excitement.

The Grammy-nominated artist grabbed a cut-out between the bridges of songs, passed the backup singer’s choir and walked the bottom of the stage with a second guitar solo.

The artist for “Beautiful Things” has put up the images a few times, but like the song, it would ironically turn “Way Way The Wind Wows.”

Boone, who seemed unstoppable, grabbed “May” many times and kept him in the air as he finished singing in the California desert.

“I thought he wanted to be here on behalf of Brian, but unfortunately he had to jump out, so we came up with that idea and he sends his love,” Boone told the crowd as he finished his set with his popular song, “Beautifulthings.”

Earlier in the day, Boone teased that there was a special guest during his 1975 hit.

“Wait until I see someone who grew up for Bohemian Rhapsody today…” the singer captioned.

Boone playfully posted a video of Tiktok after the gig, where he lip-synced the famous songs along with a massive cutout.

“He really said this crowd didn’t deserve Brian again,” one fan said.

“To be honest, I don’t understand how you brought out one of the greatest guitar players of all time, or how they responded.

“I will not blame Brian May for being stripped of that horrible crowd tbh,” the third replied.

On April 11, Boone showed off her May talent in the first week of the festival, seven months after the 77-year-old rocker suffered a stroke and was temporarily unable to move his arm.

but, The crowd didn’t respond as expected And they had a lukewarm response to surprising guests they might not have recognized.
